Last updated: April 2026
MedicalPlus Inc. ("Medical+") is committed to complying with Quebec's Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information), which strengthens the privacy rights of individuals in Quebec. This page outlines how we meet our obligations under this legislation.
About Law 25
Law 25, which came into full effect on September 22, 2024, modernizes Quebec's privacy framework by strengthening consent requirements, granting new rights to individuals, imposing stricter obligations on organizations that collect and process personal information, and requiring transparency about how personal data is handled.
Person Responsible for Privacy
In accordance with Law 25, MedicalPlus Inc. has designated a person responsible for the protection of personal information. For any questions, requests, or complaints regarding your personal information, please contact us at info@medicalplus.io.
Consent and Collection
We collect personal information only with your express, free, and informed consent. When you fill out a form, book a strategy call, or otherwise provide your information, we clearly explain the purpose of the collection and obtain your consent before proceeding.
We collect only the personal information necessary for the stated purpose. We do not collect personal information beyond what is required to respond to your inquiry, schedule consultations, or deliver our marketing services.
Your Rights Under Law 25
You have the right to access any personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, to request deletion of your personal information (right to be forgotten), to withdraw your consent at any time, to request data portability in a commonly used technological format, and to be informed of any privacy incident involving your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@medicalplus.io. We will respond within 30 days.
Privacy Incident Management
In the event of a privacy incident involving personal information (unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss), we will assess the risk of serious injury and, where the threshold is met, notify the affected individuals and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec as required by law.
Third-Party Service Providers
When we share personal information with third-party service providers (such as our CRM, analytics, or advertising platforms), we ensure contractual safeguards are in place. Any transfer of personal information outside Quebec is conducted with appropriate protections, and we conduct privacy impact assessments as required by Law 25.
Data Retention and Destruction
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Once the information is no longer needed, it is destroyed or anonymized in a secure manner consistent with the requirements of Law 25.
